The Needles in the Hands Go Clackity-Clack!

Try getting that song out of your head now! ha!
Okay, so I've been a bit of a manic knitter lately. It's just a crying shame I never have the urge to be a manic house cleaner. Or a chronic exerciser. But I digress. I want to show you what I've accomplished lately!!

Wool Peddler's Shawl - Folk Shawls by Cheryl Oberle
Needles: #8 US
Yarn: Um, don't hit me, but it's Red Heart Supersaver.

Helena by Allison Green Will
Needles: #6 US, and #4 US (called for #2's instead of 4's, but that's all I had with me,
and it worked out fine.
Alpaca Country Fina

Raglan Cardigan - Nashua Handknits - Blossom
Needles: #6 US
Classic Elite Premiere in Almost Green
(Cotton/Tencel)

That little pink sweater is precious! (And by the way, I saw the titbits and they are beautiful. I love the bright colors.)

Hadn't heard the needles in the hands verse, but I used to take my oldest daughter to a children's time at the library and they would sing "the wheels on the bus" and include a verse that said "the grandma's on the bus go knit, knit, knit...." I felt that it was quite discriminatory, although quite true because a mother on the bus would never have time to knit with the baby on the bus going waah, waah, waah ;) As far as the actual subject matter at hand...your FO's are beautiful!

Yes, the hat is small...I realized I made it a little too small after I knitted the second one. I accidentally left out a repeat of 8rows..oops. But, I figured it is for preemies who come in all sizes so I think there should be a head out there that it will fit :)

All the fo's are lovely. A little mania is good when it's well channelled. I love the green cardigan. It is adorable.

I really like the little green sweater. They're all beautiful -- wool peddler is on my to-do list.

The knitting is impressive. I totally agree with the digression - why can I not channel the compulsion into cleaning, saving money, or excercise?!! Instead I have a house packed with furry stuff. . .

First things first - you might have noticed I've changed the name of the blog. Knitting NonPareil was appropriate at one time, but I don...
