It's a Rainy Day in Georgia . . .

And yes, thank you very much, it does feel like it's raining all over the world.

We've had quite a few days of glorious rain, and some not-so-glorious tornadoes, flooding and evacuations. For two days in a row we had to herd all our library patrons to the back stairs and down to the basement. I was in my Weather Woman glory, locking doors, pointing ways, alerting the unalerted. The only thing that would have made it better was if they had given me a big, silver whistle. Alas, no whistle. sob. sob.

I heard some commotion outside a bit ago, and grabbed my camera to capture the kids playing in the rain and water. Technically, they're "students", but let's face it, to the rest of the grown up world, they're kids.Hopping in the water. Hell yes I'm a grown-up.
I'm winning, I'm winning!

Oh yeah, you rock dude. High five.
