It's killing me. If I had the third one, I probably wouldn't even want to ply yet. Here's all I've done on the Clementine shawl. It sure seems to take forever.I get tired everytime I work on it, and end up taking a nap. At this rate I'll be very refreshed, but never get it done.
And then, par for the course, I ran out of the #367 DMC floss that I was finishing up my punch needle project with. That's easy enough to get, but I'll be damned if I'm driving all the way to Wal-Mart for a 25 cent thing of floss. Not with gas so high!!
J. and I spent the weekend shopping for things for the new house. Here's the haul from Home Depot. Let's see, 4 ceiling fans, 2 pendants and a chandelier. And we're still not finished.
Sometimes it feels like it's all a dream, like I'm preparing for a house that I can't imagine living in. I guess it's because I'm not there to see it all the time. I visit, and then come back HOME. Kinda weird. We hit the Habitat for Humanity Thrift Shop, too. I spent a whopping two dollars. One on a #7 double pointed needle (don't know the brand, didn't recognize the join) and an old ice cream scoop. I'm a sucker for old kitchen implements.
I also made butter this weekend. I'll take some pics and tell you how this week. It's a great project for kids to do.

The shawl is looking good! Mine seemed to take FOREVER!! The outcome is fantastic and I am going to sew the pieces together tonight while I'm babysitting and have it blocked over the weekend. I will have a picture up on a new updated post (hahaha) on Monday.
