Sweet, talented Beverly tagged me, and who am I to refuse to talk about myself??
"The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer."
1) What was I doing 10 years ago?
Um, let's see. 10 years. That was 1998. My eldest daughter had just graduated from high school and I had just started working for an embroidery company. And we took a week-long trip to Charleston the last week of July. Hotter than seven hells but fun!
2) What are 5 things on my to-do list for today?
Go to water aerobics - do laundry - eat supper - spray weeds in yard beds (I've given up on trying to weed them by hand) - start on Grace's other quilt.
3) Snacks I enjoy:
Almonds, watermelons, chocolate covered almonds, Emily's cupcakes, Betsy's brownies
4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
Quit my job, travel, have a spa day, hire a maid and a cook (for when I was home), buy all the kids houses and cars, put money away for all the grandchildren's college educations, build libraries and schools and homes for people who fall through the cracks. Give money away anonymously - like leaving big tips and paying for someone's groceries or mechanic's bills. You know, all that feel good stuff.
5) Places I have lived:
San Diego, CA - Columbiana, Austintown, Vienna, OH - Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, FL, Jenison, MI - Woodstock, Tifton, GA - Clemson, Central, SC
6) Jobs I have had: waitress, photographer, tutor, geology field specialist, typesetter, graphic artist, embroiderer/digitizer, secretary.
7) 5 Bloggers I am tagging who you will enjoy getting to know better:
Seestore Betsy
The other Theresa
Jenny
Julie
Shannon
