And we did! Dye, that is. A few of us got together last Saturday to dye some sock blanks, and whatever else we could get our hands on. It was a lot of fun, but not for the faint-hearted. There were stains, splatters, sore feet and frivolity. Nicole tapped into her inner Jackson Pollock, and Suzy seemed to keep leaning toward food. Yarn as food. Kathy used her textile degree and extreme patience to create works of art. I just splattered and painted and ate, all day long!

Those look great! I really want to try dying up a few sock blanks someday.
What do you put in your laundry detergent? I'd love to make my own. Dreft and most other detergents leave a stinky buildup on Suzi's cloth diapers. Plus, they're all expensive!
What a great way to spend the day! Did you all buy or make the sock blanks?
What a fun day! I definitely will bring a microwave with me next time :) I have wound up the Jackson Pollock one and it looks lovely!
OMG, the colors are to dye 4. How r u girl?
Big hug,
Shannon
Looks like a lot of fun. I love the one with the circles and would love to see what was made from that! They all look pretty neat.
